2013 HARROOO

Last week we celebrated the coming of 2013. The last hours of 2012 was excruciatingly unkind to me. After buying two tubs of Baskin Robbins ice cream (1 pint of jamocha and 1 quart of Chocolate), I thought i'd spend the new years eve scoffing down my ice creams and become a hermit in front of the tv, despite getting a few invitations from friends to celebrate the new years with them (because i was too lazy to drive).

Ayah somehow seemed determined to kick me out of the house and made sure i went out. His ploy, when asked about what's for dinner, "I thought you're going out. We're not going to have dinner". And other similar tactics that drove to venture out of Bangi anyway. So i decided to go to Nina's house. By account, it should take me 45 minutes from my place to her house in Setia Alam. However, due to my useless navigation skills and even more useless Google Maps GPS, i got lose and ended up taking the longer route. And to make things worse, i got stuck in jam along with New Year revelers who wanted to celebrate it at the gaudy I-City.

Guess how long i took to reach Nina's place? Guess la Guess la...2 FREAKING HOURS. By the time i reached there the food was almost finished, caterer was starting to pack up, and party was over. GREAT. But on the bright side, i still get to see my close friends, and spent the countdown talking over our sleepover party of three. :)

Since i never accomplish any of my resolutions during the previous years; i'm just going to list down things i look forward to doing in 2013:

  1. Getting married. YES. i know this sounds cliche but who wouldn't be excited? After so long, i can't believe i'm getting closer to this life-changing experience. Le Sigh.
  2. Becoming a better Muslim (i pledge to try my best to pray 5 times a day, finish reading the Quran before i get married, and just be a BETTER person on the inside)
  3. Moving into a new place with Faliq after we get married. I've had enough of the traffic jam in Subang, and I'm pumped up on starting over in a new place.
  4. Living life to the fullest and not giving a damn about how much money I have in my bank account. Okay that's a lie. i will still live life to the fullest, but i will also bear in mind about how much money i have and how much i have to SAVE.
  5. Travel places! 2012 was a freaking bore because i didnt get to go anywhere. was supposed to go to singapore for the foo fighters concert but Dave grohl had a flu and concert was cancelled. We could still go but all my friends were completely disheartened and my renewed passport was wasted. So this time I'm just planning to go places that are near, Bandung (Company trip), Singapore (to find stuff for the wedding) and Bangkok maybe (with the girls).
  6. Manage my finances properly. 2012 saw my financial condition crashed and burn like hiroshima because i didnt give a f*** about it. i spent like nobody's business, created a whopping debt on my credit card; and now i have to start picking up the pieces and be more responsible towards my finances.

Happy new year everyone.

The last hours of 2012 with the lovely ladies in my life :)

Wedding Bells

With the wedding date set tentatively end of next year; my head is already buzzing with lists of things to do/plan/reserve/make/you name it.

thankfully one of my best friends, Sabrina, is getting married next year too, only her wedding is earlier than mine. which will be in May; so i have someone to refer to when it comes to quotations and prices. :) who knew hiring a photographer and videographer will cost a bomb? 6 grand to be exact (T.T)

wedding is indeed an EXPENSIVE ONCE IN A LIFETIME ONE DAY ONLY EVENT! i certainly dont know where ill scour the money for it; but the show must go on! insya allah di mana ada kemahuan di situ ada jalan. :)

its okay. i still have a year to plan the whole thing. will definitely rant more about wedding planning stuff in the coming months. WAIT FOR ITTTTT

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger

i used to be angry with God. For taking away the idyllic life i once had; growing up in a stable suburban home, surrounded by friends and our external family members were close by. hardship was unheard of, there was always food on the table, the house was a beautiful home one couldnt be ashamed of if he/she has to entertain guests, buying clothes almost every weekend. sigh.

but when things turned out for the worse, ayah's business failed, we had to sell the house(s), and live in a rented terrace house (until now) with deteriorating condition; things actually turned out for the best.

i really did come a long way from being a selfish, ignorant teenager into someone i can safely say, a better, calmer, mature and more understanding. i began to see the other side of what it takes to be family. Not by spending your weekends at a mall or at a fancy restaurant, but by being there for each other even when times are tough. supporting your family even if  it means you do away the lifestyle you once had. despite not having as much as we used to have, my parents still managed to put me through university, and i graduated with second class honours, found a stable job with one of the prominent developers in malaysia, and now engaged to be married.

there was no room for me to go astray and wasted; as i had both parents firmly behind me throughout the journey of my life from college to university and into the career world. there was no chance for me to swallow in my depression of not being able to afford the life i once had, because my parents were always there to remind me that " the best is yet to come, keep having faith in Allah, for this is a test for all of us to become a better person". no truer words can describe what im going through now.

it is a blessing in disguise. and i cant thank Allah enough for this.

One Step Closer to The Edge!

Who would've thought a simple majlis that only lasts for 3 hours takes weeks of preparation? I certainly was not prepared for it..

When Faliq and I decided to get engaged in November, what we had in mind was a simple do just amongst close family and maybe a few close friends. Apparently my family has something else in mind; given the fact that our family is a large one (we HAVE to invite EVERYONE kalau tak Ada yang terasa) and I guess my mother was pretty excited since I'll be the only one to get married:')

There were a lot of obstacles, I shall call it; while preparing for the event;as the event draws near, more things cropped up. The most memorable one was when one of my uncle decided to provide me with a backdrop but gave me a plain and bare panel, and I had to get some friends over during midnight to beautify it..and we managed to do it within such a short notice!

Alhamdulillah everything went well. These are the times when you're grateful to be blessed with a wonderful family and friends who were willing to help make the event a great one. My parents were constantly busy organizing the whole thing,my aunt cooked everything from midnight until the wee hours of the morning,my best friend searched for fresh flowers to decorate the tables, uncle and cousins did all the heavy work of arranging EVERYTHING..well..what can I say, I am indeed blessed. Alhamdulillah

OH WOW NEW LOOK!

i know i've been AWOL for quite some time. but wow! blogger has a new look and im like a "JAKUN" trying to find my way around and suddenly posting a simple post becomes tedious.

i've grown old -_-"

there are so many life-changing experience i've gone through over the months. and now i dont even know where to begin...

well, let's start a list:

  1. got myself a new job. yesserie....couldnt stand the old one, and suddenly had enough and started looking around, and VOILA! alhamdulillah.. my prayers were answered. New place is awesome :) and the best part is... I WORK SHORTER HOURS THAN THE LAST OFFICE WITH A BIGGER PAYSLIP (actually only less 30 minutes but that still counts RIGHT??)! booyah!
  2. i have a new cat now :) she's almost 6 months. her name is Woolla. (yup, you got that right, stole the name from John Carter's stupid movie. because the alien dog was perhaps the only STAR of the movie, not to mention bloody cute) *will def post loads of her pictures soon, she's already flooding my instagram. and she's getting FATTER
  3. My sisters were diagnosed with Scoliosis a few months back, and one of them needs to undergo a major operation to correct her crooked spine. Pray that all will turn out well. Insya allah.we are looking for ways to fund her operation so if any one of you knows how and where i can get it, do let me know.
  4. I'M GETTING ENGAGED SOON!!!! - hahaha.
that pretty sums up what's been going on in my mundane life (i still cannot get over Item 4 because i am still in a state of denial, which will definitely cost me because i need to start preparing SOON!), and i am grateful for every bit of it.

Syaza <3>

picture was taken after a photoshoot for a competition held by Tongue in Chic, we didnt make it :( but it was great fun dressing up with the girls!

Saying goodbye

marmalade. our dearest ginger boy, passed away yesterday afternoon.

earlier that day my mum called to say she had dropped him off to the vet, and he was in a very dire condition. "will he be put to sleep?", i almost choked when i asked my mum. "Heavens no!i dont think we would want that either". i sighed a heavy relief. she told me he would be warded for 3 days at the vet. i was looking forward to picking him up on Saturday, and perhaps spend the remaining days of his life at home, commuting from Bangi to KL for work, instead of staying at my rented apartment in Subang.

10 minutes later my mum texted that he has passed away. before the vet could draw some blood for a blood test, our dearest boy has died. it took me a whole 10 seconds to digest fully what the text stated before i lock myself in an empty meeting room to cry.

and cry i did. throughout the day. after work, i sat at the KLCC park, staring at the fountain works, silently weeping on the demise of my family member. i went through all the photos i had of him (which were quite a lot) in my phone. and played a video i had of him over and over again. i was glad i took the video. im glad that whenever i miss how marmalade is, i can still see how he purrs and enjoy a good scrub. that night was even worse, i couldnt stop crying, and even cried myself to sleep. the aching and emptiness still wouldnt go away after all that crying (and made my eyes so swollen it looked as if i had ping pong balls for eyes the next morning)

so here are the things i will miss about my dear boy:

1. the one who would greet me at the front gate. without fail. when i come home. he has taken into identifying the sound of my car. after i had parked at the front porch, he would climb on the bonnet, paused at the front screen as if to say "GET OUT OF THE CAR AND GIVE ME A HUG QUICK!", before proceeding to the roof so he could stick his paws out for my head when i disembark from the car.

2. the one who would never grow tired of too many hugs and cuddles. the only cat that had never grown restless when we smother him with hugs and cuddles. even enjoyed snuggling.

3. the one who would mischeaviously steal food from the dining table. and all wounded and guilt-ridden when we got pissed. but who could get pissed for long when it comes to him!

4. the one who would often come home with a dirty face (after going to one of his many adventures with his cat friends) prompting me to give him a bubble bath as he pleaded for my sympathy to spare him the bath altogether. and we were done, he would roll on the sand just to spite me.

5. the one who would always come home when we called him. who would always reply, as if he understood us.

6. the one who would always stalk me like a shadow whenever i come home, when im showering, he would wait outside the room, and race me to the living room.

7. the one that would never ever be replaced with another cat, because there will only be one marmalade. and that is you, ginger boy.

i know he is in a better place now. God loves him more. and it comforted me to know that he is not in pain anymore. i hope he knows that we all love him. and will miss him a lot.

love you. hugs and cuddles.

this is one of his favourite spot. my mum's potted plants!

the only cat that never grow restless when we're cuddling him.

p/s: thank you to my friends and cousin for the kind wishes and comforting words. i love all of you!!

My family is my life

Started the new year with a bang.spent the entire 3days holiday with the family and i have never felt better.

I realized how much i have changed over the years.before,i would be out ALL the time.even when i came back for the weekend from Johor, the only time i'd spend with the family was on sunday (the day i'd go back to johor itself) for breakfast and that was it.saturday was spent with friends and boyfriend. So if you calculate the hours i would spend with my family as compared to my friends and boyfriend is shamingly pathetic. #shamefaced to be such an abhorrent daughter that i was.

I seriously had issues with prioritizing.wondered how my parents could still "tahan" with my ineptness and me taking them for granted.but alhamdulillah,i have learned how important ur family is to you.your parents are not getting any younger, and before you know it,the time you have left to spend with them diminishes by the minutes.

I thank god for making me realize this before it's too late.even though im staying on my own now,i make it a point to call my mum everyday, and to make my weekends exclusively for them.even if the day was spent lazing on the couch watching tv;at least you're in the company of the most wonderful people on earth (your family) and the cats.hee hee

Just a quick peek what we had for our new years party,a spongebob-themed party!! Credits to my cousins aida and kak aya for the all the effort.the krabby patties and cupcakes were amazing.topped with family lepak session;we welcomed 2012 with all our hearts :)

Ramdhan is the time for family

Making the most counts, I'm glad I get the chance to experience ramadhan this year :)

A tribute to the greatest woman alive

Well, she is the greatest woman alive,to me that is :) she's my mum..

Ibu's birthday was today, and ayah wanted to take us someplace nice for buka puasa. I immediately suggested Ben's KLCC. The ambience is nice, and the food was affordable, for a KLCC standard that is :/

We ordered like there was no tomorrow, from main course, to side dishes, and then dessert:) i've always wanted my parents to try the to-die-for chocolate cake ,and today it seemed like the perfect ocassion for it.

But by the time dessert came,we were at the brim if bursting our stomachs and we couldn't stuff anything inside anymore, not even the awesome chocolate cake :(

It was a nice dinner to celebrate the woman who has been keeping the family together, and she deserved a fun night out and it was a great night filled with laughter and many forms of eating (particularly stuffing ourselves until we couldn't take it anymore)

Really wanted to upload some pictures but can't seem to do it from my iPad :/ must go godek some more.

I'll upload it as soon as I know how :p

If only I can delete you as easy as in a friend list in facebook

Family members can either be your pillar of support or just a pain in the ass. Right now? I've got a beef with a few people whom I 'have' to call family.

I always seem like I'm complaining about my external family members don't I? But here's the truth. When you're in a deep shit, even your family members will suddenly pretend they're too busy to see you or just stopped calling you.

I've got a case, my dad bailed a relative out of his financial rut almost a decade ago. And then right after that,we faced a huge financial crisis, that left us basically struggling just to make ends meet. While this 'uncle' of mine has started over new leaf, made tonnes of money, and conveniently forget what my father did for him.

I'm not being vengeful, but it did make me wary of trusting people so easily. Even your own family can suddenly develop amnesia and forget about you the minute it became inconvenient for them to have connection with you.

Alhamdulillah, my family's condition has turned around for the better, and now we're just trying to move on from whatever that has happened. Allah knows best. And I have every faith that we will become stronger.

Sorry for the long hiatus

Oh god,I've been on such a long hiatus I doNt even know where to start.but guess how I'm blogging right now?via my new white iPad which I won from a lucky draw at the annual dinner for OSKP and that night happened to be my last day with osk!! Talk about getting an awesome going away gift huh?

so, just a quick update on what's happening:

1-my best friend,khairun,got married last June,and now she's PREGGERS!!!
2-I quit my job.I find myself to be the unsuitable candidate doing a job that requires you to do PR 24/7..I mean,I'm a cranky person,I don't even enjoy meeting new people.so before I sabotage my career path,it's better that I find something I'm happy about,I.e. Project management.
3-my parents are probably moving to Penang, :( ayah got a new job there so he's taking the whole brood along minus me.even my two cats, marmalade and kangoo will be moving as well! :( noffair!!!but anyway, despite my magic self,I hope this will be the best for our family.

Umm..that's all I can think about right now.aside from that, there's not much happening.I find myself becoming even more boring each day, must be something to do with getting older :/

Now that it's easier for me to blog..I'm pretty sure I'll be blogging frequently as I did before back when I was in Johor :)

an emotional affair that ended with a fairy tale ending :)

my cousin got married last friday. from thursday until saturday; i dont know where the hell did we all (our whole family) got the enery from to keep on going. i think if there was an indication bar to state the current condition of our energy reserve, ours would be bright red with a warning we'd collapse anytime soon.

yes. it was that f* exhausting, but it was worth every single sweat.

right after the akad (wedding solemnization); i couldnt help shedding a few tears; thinking how my dearest cousin, hazrina, who was close to being a big sister i never had, is now finally married and ready to leave our rahman clan nest. words couldnt describe how emotional that moment felt for me, as i reminisce the memories we had, especially our childhood years (we grew up together as i used to live with her family, because both my parents were working) within that split minutes bob (her husband) recited the vow. and im pretty sure manja felt even more sad than i was; given that they were both sisters :)

the wedding was a HUGE affair, when i meant huge, it really was. 4 big canopies should proof that i was right. and we were all decked in the same baju kurung (malay weddings usually see family members wearing same outifits;i.e the same fabric, or the same colour). i was given the task to distribute the bunga telur (doorgifts) to all guests; which sees me being on my feet the whole day. even faliq was thrown onto the bandwagon. he became the family's photographer while at the same time while taking the opportunity to mingle with my cousins. * an opportunist never lets a golden opportunity goes to waste!!muahaha*

butttt......when you've got everyone in this whole affair, there's bound to be some dramas, but yeah, we handled it pretty well. wouldnt want to let some small drama ruin the beautiful event now do we? :)

all in all, i loved the event. it was a testament that your family is there no matter what. even when you're ugly, or at your worst; your family will never abandon you and let you go through the shit alone. :)

photos will be uploaded as soon as i get a copy from manja :) now. i need my sleep. because my eyes are beginning to resemble two ping pong balls and my eyebags are so visible, they might as well become my new set of cheeks -_-" get itttttt

p/s:going to weddings seem like an emotional affair to me now. maybe im at that age where i seriously want to settle down. :( but what can i do, no jodoh yet. insya allah my time will come soon.

toddlers and babies

today is the day spent with friends, family, toddlers and babies :) aside from seeing samir si mejam; stands for merah jambu BTW kerana die punya kulit macam omputih (HAHAHA) and the girls at wondermilk; abg adik and his troops came over to mama's house for lunch. hence; me playing with si adrian kerana budak-budak lain dah besar and would rather play amongst themselves than with an aunt who would smother them with hugs and kisses :(

i know i never really had the motherly instinct. i'm not like my cousins who had the experiences of taking care of a baby. i was more like the fun aunt who would amuse you while you still find me amusing. (usually the average age of this would be from 1-3 years old). and after that you'd just find me boring and play with your peers of the same age :/

but today. im just basking in the attention of my dear nephew adrian who finds me the coolest aunt in the world; imitating spongebob and what nots, just making him laugh brings me joy.sigh. dont you just wish they would just stay this way? and never grow up to become the angsty pimply teenager... :I

p/s:i love kids, the simplest things can make them happy.

how do you deal with toxic family members?

ive been having problems with a few family members. its bad enough if you have issues with your friends, and when situation has surpassed the limit and is beyond repair; the ultimate solution would be breaking up with the friend. correct? but how do you deal with the few bad apples in the family? you cant simply just throw them away. but its also something very toxic to have to put up with their attitude.

what's worse, i think is our eastern culture whereby we cannot say anything against the elders or we're deemed as disrespectful and just simply "kurang hajar". but hello, lady, you've been bullying your family members for decades, and being insensitive towards other people's misfortunes. who is being kurang hajar here?

i am not an angel, i dont mean to preach. but i hate it when people just simply cross the line and think no one is brave enough to tell them off. i was this close to make my opinions be heard actually. but my "eastern roots" caught the better of me, and ive decided to just keep my distance; and avoid contact. lagi banyak mengata lagi banyak dosa kita dapat kan? so its better if i just keep my distance from you and your FAMILY, and i'd live peacefully with the rest of the family members.

do not have time to entertain idiots like you.

hiatus comeback

ive been on a very long hiatus havent i? before this i'd have one post daily; and now i only get to do this once a month.

well let's see. A LOT has happened. new work place; private life; friends; families. where do i start? and my english is so abhorrent i feel like slapping myself.

i think i need a breather. i dont even have time for myself. working in kl is so physically and mentally exhausting. i'd come home feeling bloody tired. of work. of having to go through the bloody congestion. and i dont even have time to finish a book! (well, two books now :) im reading a doctor in the house and paulo coelho's veronika decides to die; i guess im setting too high of a target for myself )

the only solace i get is now i am in the company of my family 24/7 and my friends :) thats all that matters right? home is where the people you love and care are. its still too early to tell about how i will be tackling my issues at the new workplace. first things first; i need to find a way to start blogging regularly. ive strayed quite far from the routine i was used to when i was in johor. just need some time to get into the rhythm of living in kl!!

p/s:and the fact that my new company blocked blogspot's website doesnt help either :p

WHAT I DID DURING NEW YEAR'S EVE AND THE DAYS AFTER

Pictures can tell a thousand words, nuff said.

on new year's eve, we stumbled upon this:
see this? this is pretty scary. and FREAKING COOL. its a 3-storey high indoor slide and I'd be a fool if i didnt give this thing a try. hoho.so we did :) *btw, they even have an indoor flight simulator :)

TA-DAHH..it cost us RM 12 each -_- *yeah, who would've guessed that you've got to pay to ride on slides. but i tell ya, it'll take a while for you to be able to walk straight right after getting off the slide. sebab die pusing-pusing O.o
our attempt to camwhore afterwards. failed miserably because faliq's face was blocked by me. in case you're wondering where is this awesome place yg ade gelunsur dan simulator?? Empire @ Subang :)

next up. on 1st of January, we attended Faliq's close friend's wedding, and his bride happens to be my friend :) small world indeed :)

ainil and elly. ainil is soooo gorjes that day :) well, she has always been gorjes pun, tapi this time seri pengantin die sgt terserlah :) and i love white weddings, we all came dressed in white. *because we received a message from ainil asking if we'd come wearing white coloured outfits.
ok.everyone except for sidiq dressed in white. -_-" sidiq is the one dressed in black

later that night, we had the much talked about "Glam Dinner". which deserves a post on its own, much to tell.

2nd and 3rd were spent pretty much with the family. i went looking for tigger on the 3rd, but to no avail. almost broke down crying. later that night, kak ina called telling me they've caught her, only to find that it was a wrong cat when i came over. :( anyways, i hope she's safe and loved by anyone who has decided to keep her. she was my parents' favourite.

owh, in case you haven't heard. i'll be doing my braces pretty soon. END OF JANUARY!! that's soon enough!! cannot wait :)

sekarang ini, aku tgh serabut

my mum told me kangoo has given birth when she was in the care of auntie ana. received a post on my FB wall the same day from my cousin telling me the news. CANT WAIT TO SEE HER AND THE NEW KIDDIES!!! she gave birth to four kittens, one black kitten (my cousin suggested we name it Blackberry, hmm.. BB macam comel jeee), two orange ones (takkan nak namekan marmalade lagii..nanti the senior marmalade konpius kang); and the last one that looks exactly like kangoo. but now she has taken to hiding all four under the side table at the corner of the living room.ho hummmm.

Li ann gave me a christmas prezzie before she leaves for her christmas vacay in Singapore. it was this nice gorjes white belt. HEARTSSS!! felt guitly for not buying her a christmas present. absolutely forgot its this weekend! :(

now having the time of my life cleaning up the mess someone senior has made. but will prolly have the last laugh when i leave at the end of january. MUAHAHAHA (eh,belum lagi la) and having to deal with an emo senior staff, weird co-workers, and a confirmed disinterest in handling my job. I am in 'Paradise'.

thats all for now. adieu!

tigger is missing :(

i've been missing my cats. for quite some time. because i wont be back in kl until january; which is a long time. given the fact that my family is now in their holiday mood; they've left the kiddos at my aunt's house for two weeks now. i wonder if they're eating right. my cousin who is taking care of them said "diorang kekurangan kasih sayang"; before adding "bad news; one of them is missing".

and the one missing is tigger. the fattest amongst the three. the one that went really skinny when my parents went to johor and asked our neighbour to do the favour of feeding them but she never came because we weren't at home. and now. she's missing. HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO FEED HERSELFFFFFFFF

:( i cried myself to sleep yesterday night. there was nothing we could do. with me being here in johor; and my parents in kedah now. my mum tried to console me when in actual fact it was her favourite that went missing "bende nak jadi; what to do; let's just pray she will come home safely".

tigger, please come home. you know you can't survive on your own. dah la suke makan banyak, penakut pulak tu. we all miss you. even kangoo and marmalade misses you. :'(

tigger. please come home :(
taken before the family came down to johor last week. see how fat tigger is. she will be having a hard time finding food on her own :( *yg bawah tu marmalade

kangoo who is heavily pregnant now. all she does is sleep nowadays. cant wait for her to give birth :)

tigger. i miss you.

apabila orang-orang kl datang menjenguk johor

last week i took three days of unpaid leave and became a voluntary tour guide while my family was in JAYBEE. yes. they came for THREE days and frankly i exhausted my mind thinking where to bring the whole lot for leisure and DINE. knowing utara-ians; we really emphasize on the importance of finding good food.

but thank god by the end of the day they were all so tired of their daytime excursions they didnt really mind where i brought them.

a day before they arrived i made emy show me the nooks and corners of jaybee, because yes, i am THAT terrible in finding my own direction. i've been to emy's house a LOT of times and i kept getting lost ALL the time. (that is how bad my navigation skills are).

but anyhoo, emy should be proud he has trained a fast learner and my aunt even commented how good i was in giving directions around jaybee. couldnt stop smiling to myself; somehow felt i was cheating because i had a talking GPS on stand-by (EMY LA. SAPE LAGI)

and let me tell you something. taking care of 14 people is NOT an easy job. each having their own kerenah and what nots. :S ade malas nak join, ade nak pegi sini la situ la. eh. macam2 la.

thank god they enjoyed themselves on the first day they were here. i took them to...PUTERI HARBOUR LA..WHERE ELSE! hahah. bile lagi nak berlagak keje tempat best, bawak boat ride pegi tgk second link pun depa dah syok gila.

taking pictures at the VIP pontoon after the boat ride

and we also went to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!! *which was the main reason why the whole clan was in JAYBEE actually -_-

:D
we had our dose of awesomeness :)

ok. ade lagi beberapa haiwan bercakap we took pictures with, but this is by far the coolest pic because i LOVE KUNG FU PANDA!
the theme park was really fun; but the thing that drove me nuts were they had a HERSHEY'S chocolate store right next to the freaking entrance! i thot i'd die when i saw this GIANT chocolate bar; almost as big as one asbestos tile. *didnt take any photo. takut kene halau*

they also sell 1 litre of chocolate syrup, but ibu made me put it back :( so i decided to mend my broken heart buying CHOCOLATES!!!

haha, jgn tanye kenape duit aku habis kat singapore.

on saturday, decided to follow the clan to melaka for a one night stay there. though we didnt really get to do much, am really loving the hotel we stayed in. Holiday Inn. the service was superb, up to a point that their caucasian manager was the one that washed the glasses for the chinese tea they put outside at the lobby for guests.

the bathroom is much more awesome. but forgot to take the picture -_-"

loving the pool. regretting the fact i forgot to bring my swimsuit -_-"

so there you go folks. my awesome week of unpaid leave. now its time to slave off the remaining days i have here before i leave. :P

Mothers

Yesterday i didn't text my mum on my daily report of the day. after a year of doing that, each time i texted her about my day, i'd receive replies like "OK, good nite" or some unknown messages such as " mane ade rase u eid sakit or tak jst tkg abt it", which is a whole lot of level higher in SHOTFORMING messages making it impossible to even decipher in my brain.

and each time i receive messages that were too ADVANCED for me to understand, i'd say "what are you trying to say ibu?" and she'd reply " oh nvm, good nite". -_-"

sometimes i think she just does not have any interest in my daily undertaking that i just feel so malas messaging her last night. AND, it wasnt a good day for me, so i'd rather just shut myself out from the world. at 11 pm, received a message from her "where's your daily report for today?".

replied with " didnt think you'd be interested since i kept getting ok goodnite as a reply (followed by 'working was a bore, bla bla')".

and she replied me this "mane ade rase u eid sakit or tak jst tkg abt it".

and i said "whatt??i tak faham la ibu"

and she said "it's ok, good nite".

-_-" someone, please buy her a phone that has video calls so she can do that with me. owh, i might need that sort of phone as well la.
