JKT-BDG TRIP PART 2

AFTER PART 1

Bandung, well..what can i say..a haven for shoppers.

Friday 1st March 2013:

we arrived in the evening, just enough time for us to have dinner. after hours on the bus from Jakarta, i couldn't care less if they served me fried biawak (lizard); i'd still eat it and claim that it's delicious. one of my mistakes when i went on this trip was not stocking up on food/snacks because i completely forgot that we'd be on the bus most of the time. so during the bus ride, i was hungry and all i could do to shut off the hunger was to sleep.

when we got to the hotel, my roomate and i saw a pamphlet advertising massage services. we decided to call two masseuses to our room; and they told us the normal charges are 60,000 rupiah per person which was 20 ringgit. but after much coaxing from the two ibuks/masseuses; we settled for a special package that cost us 80,000 rupiah per person, equivalent to 27 ringgit. BUT IT WAS THE MOST HORRIFYING THING I'VE EVER HAD I DON'T KNOW WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO GO FOR A MASSAGE. suffice to say, i swore to myself never to put my body through the agonising experience again. i woke up with red marks all over my body especially on my back, so did my my roomate. that was when i found out they used coins to scrape our backs to "buang angin".. oh the horror.

Saturday 2nd March 2013:

woke up with a headache even after the buang angin massage; and got ready like a zombie. our first stop was to a volcano crater named Tangkuban Perahu. it was named as such because of the shape like a capsized boat. well.. that's a freaking big boat if you ask me. but unfortunately on the day we arrived in Indonesia we learned that the volcano was showing some Sprite; thus we couldn't go up due to the sulfuric content in the air. but we did get to take pictures at the foot of the volcano for about 10 minutes before we were ordered to go down -.-
the beautiful scenery on the way up. macam kat forks siotttt

saw a pakcik riding his horse up to the mountains (eh..volcano).. gagah perkasa!

taken from one of my colleague's camera

Right after the 10 minutes visit to a volcanic crater which took 2 hours of a bus ride, we went to our next destination which was the famous SARI ATER HOT SPRING. coupled with the hot sunny weather, i am still bearing the brunt of it with a sun burn.

it was pretty relaxing if you minus the extremely sunny weather. here these ice cream dudes will offer you a foot massage if you buy their ice cream.but...nothing comes free. and sadly that was what happened to a couple of my Korean colleagues because they didn't know, and proceeded to buy EVERYONE ice cream. they got ripped off and ended up having to pay 8 ringgit per ice cream, and there was about 30 of us! that made it RM 240! so guys, be careful with your purchases/services, make sure you double check/confirm whatever that has transpired from your transaction.

SEE..MANA TAK KENA SUNBURN :\

fact: the source of the hotspring was from Tangkuban Perahu Volcano.

should have sat here instead -.-"

after the stop at the hot spring, it was SHOPPING TIME!!!

first stop..PASAR BARU! there were so many textile shops i almost pengsan right there and then. but i came out victorious! managed to get a beaded lace and silk chiffon for my solemnization dress, plus some border lace for the shawl, and all was below 300 ringgit! oh my god. aside from that i managed to buy telekungs for myself, my mum and my future MI; two sejadahs for hantaran and some gorgeous indonesian batik for my mum and i.

taken from my roomate, nurul's camera. see that white shopping bag? that was only HALF of what i purchased.

the environment was crowded, hectic, noisy and vibrant. since i was so pumped up over shopping i didnt really mind. :B

after Pasar Baru, the tour took us to other shopping destinations in Bandung, but by then i was already losing my interest; since i managed to get what i came here for. HAHA. some places named Grutty, at the Cihampelas walk, and TOKO TIGA. ok, i bought 3 pairs of skinny jeans there, and two polo shirts for ayah and Faliq. but that was it. wouldn't say it was worth it though. Some items at Toko Tiga looked fake, and the Grutty place looked quite dodgy (just my two cents).

Dinner was awesome though, it was at this really nice old bungalow converted to a restaurant.

Praoe Sea Food.
ok fine. the picture didn't do justice to the food. BUT IT WAS REALLY GOOD!
i like the patterned tiles :)
ok. galok sangat tu. nampak sangat tourist.

came back to the hotel with a full and happy stomach. TIME TO SLEEP AND PACK!!

END OF DAY 2!

JKT - BDG TRIP PART 1

Two weeks ago i had the opportunity to go on a trip to Bandung courtesy of the Company. And since i am in the midst of preparing for my wedding, it was indeed a blessing  that i was given a "FREE TRIP TO THE CAPITAL OF FABRIC" so i can get some kain for the wedding :) aside from asking for tips and reading up on what to buy from various blogs, i managed to get an estimated figure of the fabric's price per metre and what other items i can get from the major shopping haunts. (awesome how technology and social media eases the burden for you).

i started with a list of what to buy in Bandung/Jakarta (since my group will make a short trip to ITC Mangga Dua in JKT before heading off to BDG):

  1. Telekung (for the hantaran, for myself, for my mum, for Faliq's mum, for ANYONE)
  2. Sejadah 2 Pcs (for the hantaran)
  3. Kain Nikah (consists of Lace, Chiffon, Lining, and border lace for the veil)
  4. Kain Reception (I have no idea what to buy kept thinking a beaded chiffon, but i didnt know how many metres i should buy, i will explain later what has become of the dress -.-")
  5. kain for the twins, and ibu (preferably shantung silk because i read that it's cheap there and Ibu loves Shantung)
so prior to my trip Jaja (my housemate) pesan for 9 m of Chiffon so she can make 3 sets of skirts. so back to my list now i have an added item making it 6 items altogether. and then Eza (my uni mate who is now my colleague, asked if i can get her brownies so now i have 7 items that i MUST get in Bandung)

it's been so long since i've been on a plane, pergi Jakarta pun excited lebih..considering my last trip was to Melbourne and that was 2 years ago!

so what happened was:

1st day: Jakarta

We arrived at Noon. with a party of 30 it was pretty hectic + chaotic to get everyone under control plus the Jakarta Sukaerno-Hatta Airport is quite crowded when we arrived. it so happens that we arrived on the same day as a group of Jemaah umrah from indonesia, HO MAI you can imagine the crowd and how PENING it was.

as we waited for the bus to come i noticed that Indonesians in general are very well-dressed. well, they dress better and more kemas than us Malaysians. we tend to be very slouchy, selekeh; wearing slippers are a norm  even when you're on an outing (which i know sounds snobbish tapi memang selekeh), baju kadang-kadang lari colour dgn tudung -.-"

i didn't realize Jakarta was going to be a little bit hotter than KL. aku pegi pakai two-piece punya top plak -.-"

As the tour included Jakarta AND Bandung, right after we arrived we were taken sightseeing all around Jakarta. some places we managed to visit/squeeze in our very tight schedule was the Monumen Nasional or MONAS as the Indonesians call it. it was also my first time berdepan dengan peddlers yg stalk kau sampai kau jadi rimas. the trick is "unless ur interested to buy then by all means talk to them, if you haven't the slightest interest, don't touch don't even make any eye contact".

so that's me and my roomate Nurul at MONAS. the peak was said to be made of Gold.

afterwards the tour guide brought us around Jakarta, some stopped at the Church and some stopped at the Mosque. i was more intrigued to see the crowded city with slums and skyscrapers next to one another.

didn't get to catch a glimpse of their train. pfft. but here's a view from the Bus as we trudge along slowly on the highway. the traffic jam was crazy i don't know how we managed to get to our destinations. Last stop before we head to Bandung was the shopping place ITC MANGGA DUA. it's one MASSIVE shopping centre housing anything you can think about, from baju to luggage. the inside is crazy shit packed. my first try at haggling in Indonesia. Managed to get a LV red handbag Knock-off for Syanaz for RM 60 and a top for myself. as we were only given 1 hour (SIAPA LA BOLEH SEMPAT SHOPPING 1 JAMMM???) i didnt get the chance to buy much pun.

and then..we're off to BANDUNG!

OH WOW NEW LOOK!

i know i've been AWOL for quite some time. but wow! blogger has a new look and im like a "JAKUN" trying to find my way around and suddenly posting a simple post becomes tedious.

i've grown old -_-"

there are so many life-changing experience i've gone through over the months. and now i dont even know where to begin...

well, let's start a list:

  1. got myself a new job. yesserie....couldnt stand the old one, and suddenly had enough and started looking around, and VOILA! alhamdulillah.. my prayers were answered. New place is awesome :) and the best part is... I WORK SHORTER HOURS THAN THE LAST OFFICE WITH A BIGGER PAYSLIP (actually only less 30 minutes but that still counts RIGHT??)! booyah!
  2. i have a new cat now :) she's almost 6 months. her name is Woolla. (yup, you got that right, stole the name from John Carter's stupid movie. because the alien dog was perhaps the only STAR of the movie, not to mention bloody cute) *will def post loads of her pictures soon, she's already flooding my instagram. and she's getting FATTER
  3. My sisters were diagnosed with Scoliosis a few months back, and one of them needs to undergo a major operation to correct her crooked spine. Pray that all will turn out well. Insya allah.we are looking for ways to fund her operation so if any one of you knows how and where i can get it, do let me know.
  4. I'M GETTING ENGAGED SOON!!!! - hahaha.
that pretty sums up what's been going on in my mundane life (i still cannot get over Item 4 because i am still in a state of denial, which will definitely cost me because i need to start preparing SOON!), and i am grateful for every bit of it.

Syaza <3>

picture was taken after a photoshoot for a competition held by Tongue in Chic, we didnt make it :( but it was great fun dressing up with the girls!

Sorry for the long hiatus

Oh god,I've been on such a long hiatus I doNt even know where to start.but guess how I'm blogging right now?via my new white iPad which I won from a lucky draw at the annual dinner for OSKP and that night happened to be my last day with osk!! Talk about getting an awesome going away gift huh?

so, just a quick update on what's happening:

1-my best friend,khairun,got married last June,and now she's PREGGERS!!!
2-I quit my job.I find myself to be the unsuitable candidate doing a job that requires you to do PR 24/7..I mean,I'm a cranky person,I don't even enjoy meeting new people.so before I sabotage my career path,it's better that I find something I'm happy about,I.e. Project management.
3-my parents are probably moving to Penang, :( ayah got a new job there so he's taking the whole brood along minus me.even my two cats, marmalade and kangoo will be moving as well! :( noffair!!!but anyway, despite my magic self,I hope this will be the best for our family.

Umm..that's all I can think about right now.aside from that, there's not much happening.I find myself becoming even more boring each day, must be something to do with getting older :/

Now that it's easier for me to blog..I'm pretty sure I'll be blogging frequently as I did before back when I was in Johor :)

the distressing call i received as soon as i got off from work

you know what's frustrating? When you have to please EVERYONE. here i was at my new JOB. thinking i'd be okay if i keep out of everyone's way (i.e., not care too much if im not included in the clique, etc.) because, hey, that'd be less of me you can find faults in right? WRONG.

Just got a call from my supervisor saying the HR manager has called him regarding my performance at work. apparently, someone has been complaining i haven't been in the office. I.E, SKIPPING WORK. mister, are u f* blind? we're all in the same office, you f* pass by my cubicle to see that I AM THERE!! so what the hell is this nonsense about me not coming to work?

oh my god. i can't tell you how shattering it was to receive a call like that from my boss, which ended with "you need to be more cautious from now on".whatttttttt

seriously mr fibber, if you have problems with the nature of my work (i am required to travel a lot for work, such as deliver documents, meet up with authority officers) then by all means, get me a new job description. i am more than willing to comply.

people who despise others to be happy brings me down. why?when u are just out to make others miserable, i wonder how your family members fare. not much i guess.

city slickers sucks like hell

faliq's away at the moment. for 5 days frolicking in the sun down under (in perth specifically) living the life of a backpacker. entah mandi ke tak aku pun tak tau. the first time he's the one who's away instead of me. and i must be feeling what he had been feeling when i went to Korea and Australia. :/ i woke up this morning and almost about to dial his number when i suddenly recall that he's in australia. so i told myself he'll be back in no time and i'd see him again this tuesday :)

work has been great. orrrr....not. :/ i absolutely love my job. it fits me well. seriously. who wouldn't like the fact that you get to work flexi hours, waking up at 9 when others are already sloughing their way to work. hahaha. my immediate superior is awesome. the thing about working with a guy is that...well. you have to be like a guy. they dont care about the nitty gritty details, all they want is the results. ho hum.

the office? sure as hell not as gorgeous as puteri harbour. but the first few weeks i started working, ive been going to klcc and wangsa walk EVERY FREAKING SINGLE DAY after work. because im that PERAK about working in the city. (you must know that I've been working by the sea surrounded by umm....empty lands ready for development).

the working environment is sooo different! there are a lot of moments that made me miss the warm people of puteri harbour, but this is the life i have to lead now. no wonder people get stressed out working in the city. the congestion is enough to give you a heart attack, and the attitude. oh-my-god! where the hell did all these people come from? its like they came straight out of a "im born to be rude" class. had a few encounters with these people including the ones in my office which made me almost burst out in rage. i am just proud i stopped my urge to slap this particular person.

but aside from this, thankful that im back. :)

hiatus comeback

ive been on a very long hiatus havent i? before this i'd have one post daily; and now i only get to do this once a month.

well let's see. A LOT has happened. new work place; private life; friends; families. where do i start? and my english is so abhorrent i feel like slapping myself.

i think i need a breather. i dont even have time for myself. working in kl is so physically and mentally exhausting. i'd come home feeling bloody tired. of work. of having to go through the bloody congestion. and i dont even have time to finish a book! (well, two books now :) im reading a doctor in the house and paulo coelho's veronika decides to die; i guess im setting too high of a target for myself )

the only solace i get is now i am in the company of my family 24/7 and my friends :) thats all that matters right? home is where the people you love and care are. its still too early to tell about how i will be tackling my issues at the new workplace. first things first; i need to find a way to start blogging regularly. ive strayed quite far from the routine i was used to when i was in johor. just need some time to get into the rhythm of living in kl!!

p/s:and the fact that my new company blocked blogspot's website doesnt help either :p

MY FAREWELL PARTY

they chose steamboat because right now I'm having difficulties in chewing, so steamboat is the best choice for soft food, well, compared to eating soup and porridge! *braces suck when it gets in the way of me and my glorious food cravings*

a few days prior to last night, i went to JJ with Kak Ikin and Awin on a window shopping spree (ceh, window shopping pun nak letak spree kan) and awin was looking for a new watch. KATENYEEE. so she asked me whch one did i like best. and guess what i got last night?

The dusty pink casio i chose. -_-" kene tipu terang2 :)

they were trying so hard in keeping the farewell party as a surprise. i was on the way to the venue of the party with Kak Yan and Kak Miza; when the boss called kak yan.

Boss: Where are you?
KY: We're on our way already (konon nak rahsia taknak bagitau aku venue kat mana)
Boss: owh it's not at Coxn? where is the party at?
KY:New York Hotel boss!
.....
FAKKKKKKK *Dalam hati kak yan kerana dgn senangnya dah kantoikan their surprise plan*

I started laughing really hard. so did kak miza. hahaha. so much for wanting to blinfold me so i wouldnt find out where we were headed. in the end i pretended to be surprised when we reached the venue *kasi jaga sama muka kak yan supaya takde kene belasah dgn org lain* :P

i loved the fact that they've put in so much effort in organising the party, as well as getting me the gift. :) trully am touched by all this.

siap aisyah si kecik pun ada :D *she was fascinated with my braces. haha

tgk berape banyak kotak depa pakai nak nganjing aku. :P

:)

next up. Singapore trip!! cannot wait :)

p/s: ain't gonna let some anasir emo ruin my farewell party yo.

Things to look forward to

i have much to look forward to. believe me. recovering from a break up is hell-ish. don't believe me? ask my friends. who are constantly barraged with calls, messages, and tweets that is reflective of a person who's about to lock herself up in a tower and never go out again.

i would say the timing of the break up was untimely. when i'm about to leave Puteri Harbour. supposedly, at this moment of time, i should be focusing all my energy on my handing over (done already actually), and spending as much time as possible with my colleagues and enjoying my last moments here. but because of this break up (i really don't want to call this a break up, let's call this "the event"); i just cannot wait to get my ass back in kl, so i will be surrounded by my friends, the malls, and a few other activities that would definitely occupy my mind. say, for instance, be a member of the National Heritage Society. i want to regisiter NOWWWW!!

i really shouldn't moan about this, because life goes on. just that now, sakit sikit la. later on, i am pretty sure i'll be ok. so will he. maybe later in life we can be friends again, that's possible. but now, i just want the pain to stop. and now, in order for me to ease the pain, i'll go on my routine of wikipedia-ing, and tweeting, and just have some fun while i'm here. i won't get to see them when i move back to kl. friends right now, are much more important.

so here's a list to the road of recovery:
  1. Go to all places i know i will miss in JB when i move; i.e., pasar karat, roost juice bar, singgah selalu, karaoke (itu mesti okaaayyy), hutan bandar. ape semua tempat makan and shopping ni...
  2. Go to Singapore!! cannot wait :B finally after a year of working here, i'd finally have the chance to go to Singapore with my colleagues :)
  3. bile pulang ke kl, buat braces belah gigi bawah. the pain will surely make me forget about my other "pain".
  4. Start work at the new PLACE! HOMAIGODDDD TAKUT GILER!!!
  5. watch Mael's performance at Laundry Bar
  6. Go to Khairun's engagement :)
  7. SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS!! (SEE THIS? ITS IN CAPS LOCK AND BOLD FONT BECAUSE THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF ALL!!!)
  8. go back to Kedah with my family for a family kenduri, as well as ammet's wedding. I miss Kedah!!!
see. banyak tu activity. ok la tu. Insya-Allah i'll be ok. :)

orang melayu species pelik #1

haha. i like having this sort of entry. it makes me ponder why the hell people cannot see the logic of just behaving normally. i was out having lunch with a few colleagues today at the usual restaurant in anjung. (working here don't really give you much options on places to eat; since its in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!). the restaurant is also a common haunt amongst other UEM Land staffs since its accessible, has a clean and nice environment and the choices of lauks are quite OK. altho the drinks sucks. i've resorted to ordering plain water each time i eat here.

a few tables from ours were a group of female staffs from another department of UEM Land. one of them was quite popular for her audacity to lash out at others; especially on the looks department. bottom line, she's just a very bitchy makcik.

she had also previously commented that Kak Z (a clerk at my office) is as big as a P.I.G! i dont know about other cultures around the world, but malays? we do NOT comment on other people in such a rude manner, moreover comparing them to a pig! (Pigs are a HUGE taboo in our society).

so this time, i bet she was just looking out to get Kak Z again, when she was on her way back to the table after washing her hands. she was squeezing in between our table and another table, and it so happens that the side she was squeezing was kak z's side. "Owh, sempit la"; smirking at kak Z. WHAT THE FISH!!!

AND the funny thing was that; she's not so SLIM herself!! (NOT SLIM AT ALL MORE LIKE!) for having the guts to comment on how fat others are, when you're a big size person yourself! that's the irony of this whole thing. and Kak Z being a quiet person just faked a smile before feeling horrible about herself. i commented loudly, not sure if her group heard me "dah tau besar lagi nak lalu sini", in the defense of kak z of course, i am not rude unless i encounter horrible people like this PERSON (or should i say COW?). GOD! how can you be so cruel to someone else who's big in size when you dont even realize you're fat yourself? itu barulah namanya tak tahu nak ukur baju sendiri. or better yet, someone who is just ignorant about basic social ethics.

really do not like the negative vibe flowing out right now, but i cant help feeling pissed. moreover with the fact that this person is in our company. i wonder how did she even managed to get friends. OR ARE THEY AS HORRIBLE AS HER?? i hope not.

sekarang ini, aku tgh serabut

my mum told me kangoo has given birth when she was in the care of auntie ana. received a post on my FB wall the same day from my cousin telling me the news. CANT WAIT TO SEE HER AND THE NEW KIDDIES!!! she gave birth to four kittens, one black kitten (my cousin suggested we name it Blackberry, hmm.. BB macam comel jeee), two orange ones (takkan nak namekan marmalade lagii..nanti the senior marmalade konpius kang); and the last one that looks exactly like kangoo. but now she has taken to hiding all four under the side table at the corner of the living room.ho hummmm.

Li ann gave me a christmas prezzie before she leaves for her christmas vacay in Singapore. it was this nice gorjes white belt. HEARTSSS!! felt guitly for not buying her a christmas present. absolutely forgot its this weekend! :(

now having the time of my life cleaning up the mess someone senior has made. but will prolly have the last laugh when i leave at the end of january. MUAHAHAHA (eh,belum lagi la) and having to deal with an emo senior staff, weird co-workers, and a confirmed disinterest in handling my job. I am in 'Paradise'.

thats all for now. adieu!

NOT A GOOD DAY FOR ME TODAY

memulakan hari ini dengan ceria. walaupun tak cukup tido kerana kene amik ida (my classmate from UIA) at Larkin Sentral at 5.30 am because she had an interview at Nusajaya Centre and she was bunking at my place.

couldnt really sleep after i got home from picking ida up; kept thinking about what outfit to wear and terlajak tido sampai 7.30 am. Meaning i have 45 minutes to get (inclusive of ironing my clothes). nevertheless, managed to achieve the required timeline successfully. and even had the time to stop by at this makcik's stall near my house for her awesomely delicious meehoon goreng for breakfast. on the way to work siap main-main lumba dgn bobo as we were racing to Puteri Harbour (Bobo is always late too).

parked my car beautifully and walked pass by en murad's car. and RIIIPPPP. my favourite jubah bore a huge tore within seconds. it got stuck at the edge of En. Murad's license plate and now i am clutching the side of the jubah so as not to display my thigh to the entire universe. went upstairs to tell En. Murad that I'm going back home to change clothes, and to my relief, there werent that many people yet at the office. so kebarangkalian menjadi topik lawak hari ini kurang teramat sangat.

Drove back home like mad, and managed to find the easiest baju kurung to be ironed (it's Friday! i want to look alim and ayu :P ); while ironing got a call from kak miza. "Eh, where are the 9 copies of the management report for En. Azmil to bring to the management meeting today?".

OH SHITTTTT. memang terlupa habis pasal subject tu. WTFISH WTFISH WTFISH. "where are you?". UMM. "at home, ironing my baju". "OK", pap letak phone. shit, mati aku kene maki dgn bos lepas ni.

drove back to the office again, madder than the previous trip. only to meet my boss in the Company's Santa Fe halfway through the road in Puteri Harbour. Didnt even have the guts to go inside and resorted to calling Kak Miza first before i enter. "Should i make the copies now?". "No need, Kak Ikin has photocopied 8 more from the one you've given earlier". A short relief. "where are you? (this is me asking her". "At the centre, kan today we have the townhall meeting with Dato'Wan (our CEO)". dAMMIT. AKU LUPAAAA.

Racing sekali lagi ke centre. greeted by Li Ann, who was with En. Azmil (EEK!) and a few other big shots of the company. "Your kain ok already ah?". Malu nyeeeee...

Selepas itu dimalukan lagi dengan incident MD notice aku nak tepuk tangan tapi orang lain tak tepuk tangan time MD announced UEM Land has acquired 50% of Sunrise (weh, bangga kot!). "OH. TGK, ADE ORANG NAK CLAP!" he exclaimed, and THE WHOLE BLOODY HALL TURNED AND LOOKED AT ME WHO HAD HER HANDS IN MID-AIR ABOUT TO CLAP IT.

SHEESSSHHHHH... apekah nasib malang aku hari ini.

LEAVING TOWN

its another 1.5 months more to go. before i finally leave johor for good.

so it's only common that i write a list about things ill miss.

things I'll miss:
1. The freedom. :) coming back late at 3 am or even 4 am (i don't go out clubbing anymore. HAHA. PLEASE. more of lepaking until the wee hours). will be an issue when I'm staying with my parents later this february.

2. the roads. well. not physically. the road conditions in JB sucks as much as KL's. but ill miss the fact that i know how to get to places. I AM ALWAYS LOST when im in kl. the only direction i know is how to get to Subang, Kelana Jaya, Faliq's house and to UIA. i am that SUCKY. but in JB. i am practically a semi-god in directions (god of directions would be emy tho)

3. the quaint old town of jb. roost juice bar, the bundle shop opposite the juice bar and the uptown bazaar just right next to it. will be sorely missed. its my frequent haunt for COOL headscarves at awesome prices and where I've found cool clothing items at incredibly affordable prices (you should know by now that i don't shop at MNG and all that likes. I LOVE FOS and anything between that)

4. PUTERI HARBOUR. of course i will miss this! this is like the coolest place EVER  to work at. coupled with the BEST TEAM you will ever have. it taught me a lot. and i am very much grateful to be given the opportunity to work with international consultants in mega projects such as this. HEARTS.

puteri harbour in memory :)

5. the friends i have acquired. Ima, emy, bobo, and the rest. not to forget Kak Yan and Joe. its difficult finding a friend that will accept your quirks, and stand by you through thick and thin. i became close to ima after amir left. in a way, it is fated that i meet her, and know her even more closer after one of my dearest friend in moved from johor to KL. and in a way, im grateful to be given the chance to be her friend. :)

6. The food. yes. hate to admit this. but johor has a nice selection of delectable delights. :) i have yet to visit my friend, hilman's restaurant, ZZ sup tulang. they say ITS AWESOME. hmm. should really try that before i leave

this is so far the list i can conjure up. will add more when i can think better. right now brain is jammed. too much chocolate can make your brain go nuts.

COMFORT FOOD

my comfort food at the moment

with tigger gone missing. work being a bitch. and no more paid leave left. i am in pain.

i think the magic of chocolate doesnt work on me anymore, i think its because ive consumed too much of it that endorphines doesnt make me all giddy and happy. it just makes me restless.

I WAS LATE BECAUSE OF YOU

yesterday, i woke up late. VERY LATE. when i saw my watch it was already 7.30. i was like WTFFFFFFF. in order for me to get to work on time, the latest time i'd leave the house is 8.15; because yeah, my house is only 10 minutes away from work. HAHA. (so going to miss this when i move back to KL -_-")

THEREFORE. i only have 45 minutes to get ready, and given the fact that my small travelling iron is now almost at the end of it's life, each baju will cost me 30-40 minutes.

so that leaves me about 5 minutes to mandi AND get ready.

which i successfully acheived.

and then disaster struck.

my housemate has been feeding a string of cats outside our house; its the closest thing we actually have to a pet; so each time any of us opens the door, the kitten and the cat will zoom inside the house.

NOT A THING YOU WANT TO TOLERATE IF YOU'RE FREAKING LATE FOR WORK. and that's exactly what they did when i opened the door. before i could actually say get out, one cat has already made it's way upstairs. AND I HAVE TO GO UP THERE AND CHASE IT BACK DOWNSTAIRS!

you could guess what time did i manage to leave the house. come on. guess. 15 FREAKING MINUTES LATER.

sigh. if only i have a wand and could say "accio cat and kitten". i'd so be early for work.
one of the source of my misery yesterday morning -_-" nasib ko comel

weh, u think u so hebat ah?

ok. im pissed.

just because you're a high ranking staff in the company, doesnt mean i dont DESERVE to send out an email to you. the Standarad Operations Procedure does not state that staffs whom are BELOW your grade, i.e. me, a junior executive, CANNOT send out an email to a DIRECTOR like you.

WORK IS WORK man. im just trying to do what is in my tasklist, get the whole shit done, get paid for it, and have an awesome thing to put in my CV.

seriously, i dont even want to BE HERE anymore. pompous bastards like this totally spoils all the fun in work.I LOVE WORK ok!!!you just ruined my day. THANKS.
